Ukraine Recovery Conference 2025: Rome at the heart of reconstruction
Rome hosted the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2025, a key international forum coordinating efforts for Ukraine’s reconstruction. Promoted by the governments of Italy and Ukraine, the conference brought together heads of state and government, European institutions, multilateral organizations, and major industrial players.
Institutional participants included President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, and numerous foreign government delegations.
Discussions focused on investment, strategic infrastructure, energy transition, and European integration, with the aim of turning political support into concrete financial commitments and operational partnerships. The conference confirmed Italy’s role as a diplomatic and industrial hub in Ukraine’s reconstruction process.
